Limelight Theatre Company is thrilled to sponsor a college audition workshop available to all high school students who are interested in or preparing for musical theatre college auditions. Through this unique 4-hour workshop, students will learn all about the extensive college audition process, perform and gain feedback from industry professionals on prepared audition materials, and participate in a mock dance call.

The workshop will be held on September 24, 2023 at the Studio Around the Corner in Brewster, NY (67 Main Street, Suite 101) and is co-produced by "Voice with Jules." It’s a great way for high school students to gain the needed skill set for not only their college auditions but when they decide to audition for industry-level work. All registrations are handled through our guest workshop instructor Juliana from Voice with Jules.

Marry Me a Little 2022

The Limelight Theatre Company was launched in 2021 to pave the way to more inclusive, accessible and affordable performing arts in Westchester County, and is grateful for a successful second year. This past year, our nonprofit theatre company proudly provided work and performance opportunities to dozens of professional artists as well as training opportunities through brand new programming for the next generation of young artists!

In addition to our second year of projects and programming, the Limelight Theatre Company was graciously again awarded grant funding through ArtsWestchester, and we are extremely grateful for their support.

With your help, the Limelight Theatre Company looks forward to upholding its mission and bringing inclusive, accessible and affordable performing arts to Westchester County in the new year. We thank you for your support and hope you will consider making a contribution to our End of Year Campaign. Wishing all of our supporters, arts and students a happy and healthy new year!

Limelight Theatre Company is thrilled to present a special concert event, taking place this Sunday, February 27th only: Stephen Sondheim's MARRY ME A LITTLE In Concert.

A charming and bittersweet musical revue that features songs by Stephen Sondheim, the undisputed master of the contemporary Broadway musical. Two urban and single strangers share a Saturday night of sweet fantasies and deep yearning while never leaving the confines of their solitary apartments, and never knowing that they’re just a floor away from each other and the end of their lonely dreams. Together, they breathe new theatrical life and meaning into a collection of trunk songs that were culled from the final productions of Sondheim's Anyone Can Whistle, Follies, Company, A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum and A Little Night Music.

The production stars Sarah Milnamow and Joshua Shea Coates, with music direction by T.C. Kincer, stage direction by Stephanie Scuderi, and stage management by Sydney Gershon. MARRY ME A LITTLE In Concert will be presented on February 27th at 3:00PM and 7:00PM at the Ossie Davis Theater within the New Rochelle Public Library lobby in New Rochelle, NY.

This concert production is made possible with funds from the Statewide Community Regrants Program, a regrant program of the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of the Office of the Governor and the New York State Legislature and administered by ArtsWestchester.

The production will be presented on Friday, August 27th at 8PM, Saturday, August 28th at 3PM, and Sunday, August 29th at 3PM. Written by Jason Robert Brown, the production is directed by Westchester's own Richard F. Grasso, with music direction by Westchester's Stephen Ferri. Featuring incredible professional talent from both Westchester & NYC, Limelight Theatre Company announces its cast: Grant Evan (Man 1), Stephanie Scuderi (Woman 1), James Harris (Man 2), and Raquelle Viteri (Woman 2).

About the show: It's about one moment. It's about hitting the wall and having to make a choice... or take a stand... or turn around and go back. These are the stories and characters of today, the Songs for a New World. The first musical from Tony Award winner, Jason Robert Brown (Parade, Bridges of Madison County), this moving collection of powerful songs examines life, love and the choices that we make.
